Jillian Gottlieb is an actress based out of New York City. She attended the Mason Gross Conservatory at Rutgers University where she studied opera. Recently she originated the lead role of Susanna in the world premiere of the musical The New World, directed by Stafford Arima at The Bucks County Playhouse. She also created the role of Khanele in the critically acclaimed National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's production of The Golden Bride, for which The New York Times said "Ms. Gottlieb is a revelation: effervescently daffy like a young Georgia Engel but also sassy and deadpan. The show is not the only discovery here." She has worked at many prestigious theatres around the country including TUTS, Fulton Theatre, The O'Neill Theatre Conference, Ogunquit Playhouse, and numerous Off-Broadway houses in New York City.
She is currently in the off-broadway show #DateMe at the Westside Theatre.
